Hush Grove Studio
Creative Integrity Policy
At Hush Grove Studio, we believe creativity deserves to be celebrated, shared responsibly, and respected.
Every story, illustration, photograph, design, and creative project represents an investment of imagination, time, and artistic vision.
This policy explains how creative materials presented through Hush Grove Studio may be viewed, shared, and used, and outlines our commitment to protecting the rights of the creators whose work we feature.
Effective Date: November 1, 2026
Last Updated: November 7, 2026
1. Ownership of Creative Works
Unless otherwise stated, original materials published or displayed by Hush Grove Studio are owned by Hush Grove Studio or their respective copyright holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These materials may include:
Literary works, manuscripts, stories, and excerpts
Book covers, titles, and promotional artwork
Tarot card illustrations, deck designs, and accompanying written interpretations
Original photography, illustrations, and graphic designs
Videos, animations, and multimedia productions
Website copy, articles, and journal entries
Original logos, branding elements, and visual identities
The appearance of a creative work on our website does not transfer ownership or grant permission for unrestricted use.
2. Respecting Our Authors and Contributors
Hush Grove Studio may publish, promote, or feature works created by independent authors, artists, and collaborators.
Unless rights have been expressly transferred through an appropriate agreement, these creators retain ownership of their respective intellectual property.
Featuring a work within the Hush Grove Studio Library, author directory, or creative collections does not automatically make Hush Grove Studio its copyright owner.
We are committed to respecting creator attribution, ownership, artistic integrity, and applicable licensing arrangements.
3. Unpublished Manuscripts and Early Reader Materials
Hush Grove Studio may provide selected participants in its Early Reader Program with access to unpublished manuscripts, draft chapters, illustrations, and other creative materials.
These materials remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holders and are shared exclusively for personal reading and providing feedback.
Participation does not grant permission to reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, adapt, or publicly share unpublished materials without prior authorization from the applicable rights holder, except where permitted by law.
Participants are expected to comply with the confidentiality and permitted-use requirements outlined in the Hush Grove Studio Early Reader Program Guidelines.
Providing feedback does not automatically establish co-authorship, transfer ownership of a creative work, or create an entitlement to royalties or compensation.
Hush Grove Studio respects the original contributions of readers and collaborators. Any substantial creative contribution requiring separate rights arrangements should be addressed through an appropriate written agreement.
4. Permitted Use and Sharing
We welcome readers, visitors, and creative enthusiasts who wish to discover and share our work responsibly.
Visitors may:
Browse and enjoy publicly accessible website content
Share links to our website, books, and creative collections
Recommend our publications and projects to others
Refer to our work in reviews, commentary, or discussion in accordance with applicable law
When referencing our work, we appreciate appropriate acknowledgment of Hush Grove Studio and the credited creator.
Attribution alone does not grant permission to reproduce protected materials.
5. Unauthorized Reproduction and Distribution
Except where authorized by the rights holder or permitted by law, visitors must not:
Reproduce, republish, or distribute protected creative materials
Sell or commercially exploit our artwork, writing, or designs
Present another creator's work as their own
Remove or alter copyright notices, credits, or identifying information
Create or distribute unauthorized reproductions of tarot cards, book illustrations, or other protected materials
Use protected materials in merchandise, promotional campaigns, or commercial products without authorization
We reserve the right to investigate suspected infringement and pursue appropriate remedies where legally available.
6. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Content Use
Hush Grove Studio recognizes that digital creative technologies continue to evolve.
Unless expressly authorized by the applicable rights holder or permitted by law, we do not grant permission to reproduce, systematically extract, or use protected materials from our website for the development, training, or fine-tuning of artificial intelligence models.
This includes protected literary content, original illustrations, artwork, photography, and other creative materials.
Requests for licensing or other authorized uses may be submitted through our Contact page.
This statement expresses our permissions policy and does not override applicable laws or statutory exceptions.
7. Visual Representations and Promotional Materials
Some images, mockups, conceptual artwork, and promotional materials displayed on our website may be illustrative representations of creative projects.
These materials may differ from final published books, tarot decks, merchandise, or other finished products.
Certain visual assets may be created with the assistance of digital tools or licensed from third-party providers.
Rights in such materials are subject to applicable laws, licensing terms, and the rights of their respective creators.
No claim of exclusive copyright ownership is made over material that Hush Grove Studio does not legally own.
8. Copyright and Fair Dealing
We recognize that Canadian copyright law provides certain exceptions, including fair dealing for qualifying purposes such as research, private study, education, criticism, review, news reporting, parody, and satire.
Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict rights or exceptions provided under applicable law.
We support thoughtful criticism, literary discussion, artistic commentary, and responsible engagement with creative works.
9. Permissions and Licensing Requests
Individuals or organizations wishing to reproduce, adapt, license, distribute, or commercially use protected materials featured on our website should obtain permission from the appropriate rights holder.
Requests may be directed to Hush Grove Studio through our Contact page.
Where a work belongs to an independent author or contributor, additional permission from that creator may be required.
Permission is not granted unless expressly confirmed by an authorized rights holder.
10. Reporting Copyright Concerns
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same respect in return.
If you believe material displayed on our website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with:
Identification of the material in question
The location of the material on our website

Your contact information
Any relevant supporting documentation
We will review concerns in good faith and take appropriate action where warranted.
11. Protection of the Hush Grove Studio Identity
The Hush Grove Studio name, logos, visual branding, and distinctive studio materials form part of our creative identity.
Use of these elements in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with Hush Grove Studio is not authorized.
Any trademark rights are subject to applicable law and registration status.
12. Changes to This Policy
Hush Grove Studio may update this policy as our creative collections, publishing activities, technologies, and legal responsibilities evolve.
Revisions will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
The original effective date will remain listed as a record of when the policy was first introduced. The effective date does not, by itself, establish the content of earlier versions; copies of previous versions should be retained for that purpose.
